Weigh-in Wednesday: Week 6

I had no idea what to expect with the scale today, but was sensing a gain coming on. Not because I pigged out or anything, but I had a feeling. So here we go...

160.2 Womp, womp - sad panda :( 1.5lb gain this week. I'd be less sad if it was still in the 150's...seeing the 6 again sucks. I don't think I've actually eaten 5250 extra calories to make this gain, but something happened. I know I didn't get to workout as often or as hard last week because of my foot. I couldn't stand much during spin class, I only ran 2 miles one day last week, and my long run was a 10k. 

I've also almost stopped breastfeeding. Nugget is down to just one feed in the morning, which means I'm not burning nearly as many calories as I was. Right now I get 34 WW points, but I know that's going to drop by 4 or so when I stop nursing and I wonder if I should just go ahead and select that I'm not nursing to remove those points. I probably don't need that many extra calories to just feed him once a day, and maybe if I don't eat them, my body will eat my ass.

I'm hoping I can squeeze in a few runs this week. I'm going to try tonight to see how my foot feels. I did spinning yesterday and Zumba this morning. Will be doing spinning again tomorrow and hopefully another run on Friday. No clue for Saturday, but I need to do something. Then I've got 9 miles (EEEEK!!!) on Sunday.

For a non-scale victory, my measurements have improved slightly. I last took them on 1/16 and I've lost .5" from my waist and 1" from my hips (thighs stayed the same size). 1.5" in 4 weeks isn't too bad. Sadly, I don't think I'll make my goal of 150 by my birthday, but I'll get there eventually.

    The damn scale is just not being cooperative lately, seems to be a theme all around this week. Hope next weeks weigh-in goes better for you!

  3. Rough week here too. I say drop the extra points, or at least a few of them. I think that's my problem too. I'm down to only pumping about 4oz a day and it certainly doesn't take as much to produce that as it did to feed her all day!

    1. I went in last night and removed nursing from my WW profile..dropped 7 points! Yikes! That will be a big adjustment for me now.
