Weigh-in Wednesday: Week 7

button
It's hump day, folks, which means it's time to weigh in.

After my disappointing weigh-in last week combined with no long run this weekend, I wasn't really expecting much change when I hopped on the scale this morning. We ate dinner out on Sunday night (which included dessert) AND had ice cream earlier that afternoon - I figured that would have settled right on my big ol' birthin' hips and kept me, at the very least, at my same weight.

Spoiler alert - it didn't!

Here we go...

YEAH! 158.1, down 2.1lbs from last week and .6lbs less than I was 2 weeks ago when I first got back in the 150's. Hell yes! While I don't think I'll be hitting 150 for my birthday, I'm just happy to be back in the 150's and plan to not see the 6 in that spot ever again.

Last January, I set my original long term goal to be 150, but that's definitely not the case any more. Granted, when you're 212lbs, 150 sounds like a miracle. I think 140 is probably going to be my true goal. The lightest I've ever been is 145 and I looked uh-maz-ing then (thought at the time I thought I was chubby - idiot!), but since my body is different from having a baby, I think my weight needs to be lower to look as good as I did then.

I found some photos I took when I first joined Mama Laughlin Fit Camp at the end of September last year. I don't see a big difference, but there's definitely some change (especially in the breasticles...can thank lack of nursing for that though). Had I been kicking ass and taking names from then until now, I probably wouldn't even be weighing in anymore. However, I slacked, and here I am. I've lost about 15ish pounds between the 2 photos. I'll do my next photo comparison in 15lbs, but hopefully it won't be in 4+ months.

Also, on a foot update - I ran last night! I did stretches for my foot all day and did a 5k last night with NO PAIN!!! Come on foot - keep it up for the next 2 weeks and then you can have some rest.
