First thing first, I got an interview for nursing school!!!
We had a really busy weekend.
On Friday, Nugget had his 15 month check up. Everything looked great and he's still a big boy . 28lbs 5oz and 32.5" tall. He's large and in charge. After his appointment, we dropped him off at our house where Grandma and Grandpa were watching him for the night. We had a wedding to go to and this was our first Nugget free night EVER!
I was sad to say goodbye to him, but I knew he would have fun.
We headed down to Vero Beach with some friends and had a great time. The wedding was at this really cool historic home and they had a nicelong Catholic wedding without any mention of Nazis (oh, I'm sorry. Did your ceremony not have mention of Nazis? Ours did.). The bride looked gorgeous, the food and drinks were delish, and the music was good. A good time was had by all.
After the wedding we went back and had an after party. More drinking. Less sleeping.
I'll be honest, I just wanted to sleep. It was my only Nugget free night and I wanted to sleep as much as possible. Who knows when this would happen again. We went to bed at 3 and were up at 9. So much for sleeping.
Saturday involved a hangover that was then cured by a giant chorizo filled breakfast burrito and way too many tiny little donuts from the farmer's market.
Sunday was gorgeous outside so I went for a run. I felt like I was going to die. You'd think I hadn't just run 13 miles a few weeks ago. I'm going to blame poor performance on still being hungover.
We also went to the park and a food truck festival where we stuffed our faces with brisket bbq grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken and waffles, and cupcakes. FATTY!
Back to the grind.
