Weekend Update: Running, Food, and Beer

This weekend was a lot of fun and actually didn't feel painfully short.

Although Thursday is not the weekend, it felt like the start of it for me.

I did one of those painting and wine classes with a friend. It was way more fun than I expected and we purchased 2 more Groupons so we could do it again. I made her promise we wouldn't do any more landscape ones, though, because I'm not great at them.

Friday, I had a sore throat thanks to Hubs catching diseases from everyone at work. I had to cancel on going running with some friends because it was 50 degrees out and I didn't think running in that would make me feel any better. Nugget started going stir crazy being in the house all morning, so I took him to see the Easter bunny.

I'll be honest, I think the Easter bunnies in the mall are a bit scary. I mean, it's a GIANT bunny...they're not supposed to be that size! Nugget had no problem with it because he just waddled over to him and started laughing. Picture turned out great (granted I had to literally jump up and down to get him to smile for the photo) and I had a happy Nugget - win-win for me.

This was the only picture without his fingers in his mouth or ears!

Saturday morning was kind of a bust. I drove 30 minutes and paid tolls to go to class only to have the professor cancel it 15 minutes after it should've started. Grumble, grumble.

Since I got home early I decided to get in my virtual St. Patrick's Day Run for Jill's 13 in 2013. This was my fastest 5k to date! Not gonna lie, I felt pretty bad ass when I walked in the door and Hubs told me he didn't think I'd be back for another 10-15 minutes. I couldn't believe I ran a less than 10 minute mile the whole time. It must've been the luck of the Irish to get me through that one so quickly.
Woo Woo!!!
We decided we needed some beer so we went to Raglan Road at Downtown Disney where we stuffed ourselves with beer, Irish food, and listened to live music. It was fun and Nugget danced in his high chair. We also went to Ghiradelli afterwards for ice cream. Totally diet approved.

Wearing Daddy's aviators and dancing - he's clearly too cool for school
Nugget was in a ridiculously good mood all day today. My parents came over to watch him so we could go to the Winter Park Art Festival and stuff our faces some more.

Tasty noodles!
We walked over to Shipyard Brewery after the art fest for more beer.

Hope y'all had a fun, green filled weekend!

Look at the difference a year makes! Tear :'(

Have a great week!
